Filinvest Land, Inc. (FLI) has taken another significant step in cementing its position as one of the Philippines’ leading industrial and logistics estate developers, with the Filinvest Innovation Park – Ciudad de Calamba (FIPC) officially designated as a Special Economic Zone under the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA). The designation was formalized through Presidential Proclamation No. 1113.
This milestone further advances Filinvest Land’s long-term strategy of building world-class, master-planned industrial ecosystems that empower global and local enterprises seeking competitive, sustainable, and scalable operations in the Philippines. Over the past several years, FLI has strategically expanded its industrial footprint—emerging as a formidable force in the country’s modern industrial growth agenda.
Located in Barangays Bubuyan and Punta in Calamba City, Laguna, the 25-hectare Filinvest Innovation Park – Ciudad de Calamba now becomes part of the country’s roster of PEZA-registered ecozones, strengthening its position as a prime destination for export-oriented manufacturers and logistics operators.
With this PEZA status, qualified locators may register and benefit from a suite of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, including income tax holidays, special corporate income tax regimes, and streamlined import–export procedures. These advantages reinforce the park’s appeal for companies seeking to optimize cost structures, accelerate time-to-market, and establish long-term operational resilience.
According to Francis Ceballos, Senior Vice President of Filinvest Land and Business Unit Head for Industrial & Logistics, the proclamation affirms the company’s clear direction of leadership in this sector.
“The PEZA ecozone designation of Filinvest Innovation Park – Ciudad de Calamba affirms our commitment to building globally competitive industrial estates that respond to the needs of modern manufacturing and export-oriented enterprises,” Ceballos said. “It validates Filinvest Land’s role as a key driver of the country’s industrial transformation—providing investors with future-ready, well-managed, and strategically located estates.”
Strategically located in Calamba—an anchor city in Southern Luzon’s industrial belt—FIPC offers unparalleled access to Metro Manila, major expressways, and critical logistics gateways. Its integration within Filinvest’s comprehensive Ciudad de Calamba township ensures reliable infrastructure, long-term estate management, and a business environment designed to support operational continuity.
The new ecozone designation also strengthens the growing Filinvest Innovation Parks network, which includes Filinvest Innovation Park New Clark City. These developments highlight Filinvest Land’s ambition to elevate the Philippines’ competitiveness by supplying a robust pipeline of investment-ready industrial and logistics destinations.
With an expanding portfolio, a clear development strategy, and a commitment to globally benchmarked estate planning, Filinvest Land continues to position itself as a national leader in industrial development—helping shape the future of manufacturing, logistics, and economic growth in the country.
